Photographer Reveals the Unexpected Fluorescence of Flowers Using UV Light

Craig Burrows is a 29-year-old photographer based in Southern California. He uses a type of photography called UVIVF or “ultraviolet-induced visible fluorescence”- a process which brings out the glowing fluorescence in plant matter through the use of high-intensity UV lights.

Craig says about his work, “Ultraviolet is very hard for humans and cameras to see, but the glowing fluorescence it causes can be, which makes it ideal to use for stimulating fluorescence.”

You can see more of his work on his website and Instagram.
