Fascinating Hyperrealistic Cactus Paintings by Kwang-Ho Lee

Korean artist Kwangho Lee uses various techniques such as scratching, rubbing of the paintbrush, and tapping on the canvas to create extraordinary cactus paintings which are easy to mistake for photographs at a first glance.

The paintings stand up to 8-feet tall and feature a variety of cacti specimens in extraordinary detail.

Born in 1967 Seoul, Lee Kwang-Ho has attended Seoul National University under the Major of painting, and further continued to pursue his postgraduate degree at Seoul National University.
